This is a handy cfg file for those that want to be able to do a quicksave (F9) and quickload (F11); However, it's important to note that, because each saved game overwrites the previous, you can only load the last game saved.
NOTE>>> "game.cfg" is found in your 'FarCry' folder <<<NOTE 1. Copy ALL the text (above dotted line) using the >Ctrl C< method. 2. Open the "game.cfg" file using a text editor such as Notepad. 3. In the Edit menu (in Notepad, Wordpad, Etc.) click "Select All". 4. Paste what you copied from instruction '1.' above by using >Ctrl V<. 5. Save the file. If it asks you for a name of the file just enter "game.cfg". Without the quotemarks of-course. 6. MOST IMPORTANTLY>>> You must make the "game.cfg" file """READ ONLY"""<<<. Right click "game.cfg" file and click 'Properties'. When the 'game.cfg Properties' pops up, down towards the bottom is the phrase "Read Only" with a box beside it. Checkmark that box. 7. !!!You must start a new profile for the changes to take effect!!! Now you can quicksave and quickload using the F9 for QuickSave and the F11 for QuickLoad. You can ONLY load from the most recent save. There will NOT be more than one saved file because it saves over itself again and again. Let us all praise the work of Troy Willig for his keen insight, which helped make this file so easy to use. All praise Troy. HeHeHe!!! ENJOY!
