Essentually, this is a small mod that makes the assault-mode more realistic; The developer tinkered alot with the in-game objects,etc, to make your gamng experience that much more life-like, some of you may not like the changes made, and some of you will except what was sacrificed to achieve this realism...either way, this is a definate must have!

Some of the features of this mod that adds to the realism are: RocketLauncher removed. Shocker added. P99 (silenced with 3x scope) added. Realistic reload added; can be turned on/off server-side with "ra_reload 0/1". Crosshair can be enabled/disabled server-side with "ra_crosshair 0/1". Health, armor, ammo, runspeed etc. of each class changed.

This mod makes for a fun change in pace, and adds an element of uncertainty to the game, especially if the server running the game has crosshairs turned off, players have to pause for that extra second or two before shooting as the names don't come up when you point at somebody with your weapon; My fave feature is the removal of the rocket launcher, every game has one of these, and every game has someone who is constantly blowing the crap out of the opposing team.

|INSTALLATION & RUNNING THE MOD|
--------------------------------

Put the RealisticAssault folder in your FarCry\Mods folder.
Run the game -> go to Mods -> select RealisticAssault from the list -> click on Load MOD
... or create a shortcut to your FarCry.exe -> got to properties -> add "-MOD:RealisticAssault" to your target line.

Weapons:
RocketLauncher removed.
Shocker added.
Single-shot mode for OICW5.56mm, G36, P90 and melee attack for Wrench added.
Accuracy, damage, recoil, zoom etc. of all weapons changed.
Changed clip sizes: OICW5.56mm 30, OICW20mm 6, DesertEagle 9.
AW50-Scope has a 3-12x scope (1x steps).
Sound of OICW, G36, MP5, AW50 and DesertEagle changed.
P90 scope-view with 1x zoom added.
Weapons can be fired but not reloaded in water.
Bullet trail of AW50 and bullet traces of all other guns removed.
Ironsights for M4, MP5 and DesertEagle, Jackhammer and M249 added.
P99 (silenced with 3x scope) added.

Grenades:
Colour of smoke changed; size and lifetime increased.
Smoke trail of HandGrenade and Flashbang removed.

Equipment:
New binos with 4-20x zoom (0.5x steps).
Target locker and motion tracker disabled.

Vehicles:
Buggy MG removed.
MaxRPM of Buggy and Humvee increased.

Other:
Realistic reload added; can be turned on/off server-side with "ra_reload 0/1".
Crosshair can be enabled/disabled server-side with "ra_crosshair 0/1".
HUD removed (except flags and time).
Name doesn't come up when you point at somebody with your weapon; teamsigns also removed.

Classes:
New models for each class (don't support team colours!).
Health, armor, ammo, runspeed etc. of each class changed.

Class weapons and equipment:
Grunt: DesertEagle, P90/MP5, M4/G36+AG36/OICW - HandGrenades, SmokeGrenades - Binoculars
Support: DesertEagle, Wrench/Bombs/MedPacks, M249/Jackhammer - HandGrenades, Flashbangs, SmokeGrenades - Binoculars
Sniper: Shocker/Machete, P99, AW50 - Flashbangs, SmokeGrenades - Binoculars, NightVision

Points:
CaptureStarted = 5
CaptureAverted = 10
CaptureFinished = 20
BuildingBuilt = 5
BuildingRepaired = 2
BuildingDestroyed = 5
Heal = 3
Kill = 2
Death = -1

... and some things that I forgot to mention.

Invulnerability Timer is now set to 0 by default.
