Robin has submitted his second version of his popular single-player map that will bring you some great Far Cry gaming pleasure; Much like the previous release, this version comes complete with an engaging back story and some good ol' fashioned Far Cry action!
rll map (v2) is similar to the previous release, but the action and resistence you'll face is much different; the Mercs have taken over an inter-connecting tropical island chainset. You are number three in the list of operatives that have been sent in to deal with the Mercs, the first two went MIA, but not before mentioning a 'tomb'. The developer has also included form of a contract before you can except this mission...
"If you think you have what it takes, you must agree to these terms: There will be no running away screaming like girly men while being chased by aberrations. There will be no cowering in the corner of a hut afraid of doing the next objective. If you come across a tunnel that leads underground - I don't care how many monsters are down there. It's your job to take them out."
Robin has supplied a list of 7 objectives to be carried out:
- Mercs are working on a v22 - at the airbase. Take it out and wipe out the base as much as humanly possiable.
- Find out what the first operative was talking about.
- A mutant leader is hiding in the timber woods.
- Take out the merc generator. Target main computer - blow it up, use a gernade if nessasary.
- Mutant Kreiger is somewhere in the green forest - he's the one that gave the mercs the idea to take over this set of islands in the first place. Take that trouble maker out.
- Mutants have stolen rocket launchers from the airbase and hid them in their lair. Get them.
- Take out anything you deem dangerous - then go home.

This map is the second verison of rll3. At the start of the game the game will save. You must make it to the first objective (rebel camp) where the game will be saved again. After that it will stay in the second version, the one you have. If you die between the start and the first objective you must press esc and type \map rll3 again to stay in the correct version. All saves are when you reach your objectives not after. One last thing Far Cry is a game that can push a computer past what its capable of. It's better to set the graphics to lower and play the game then to have the graphics and resolution too high that make the game choppy and unstable. The mercs have taken over an interconnecting tropical island chainset. I have sent in two operatives to deal with the situation. The first operative we lost contact but he had mentioned something about a tomb. So I decided to send in a second operative. He went in gunho, lost contact with him somewhere near rebel camp. So I decided to send in another to deal with a merc and mutant problem. If you think you have what it takes, you must agree to these terms. 1. There will be no running away screaming like girly men while being chased by aberrations. 2. There will be no cowering in the corner of a hut afraid of doing the next objective. 3. If you come across a tunnel that leads underground - I don't care how many monsters are down there. It's your job to take them out. If you agree to these terms, copy the rll 3 folder and paste it into C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\Levels Folder. Start the game, when the game is running press ~ a command screen will pop up then type \map rll3 then press enter.
