We have a new content submitter here today...[Commander Eswat] has showed up to provide you with an awesome new Single-Player Mod that is sure to amp up your Far Cry gaming experience! Along with all of the secondary changes and eye-candy that you will find within, this mod will make two big time distinct changes to your stock game, it will add a Cloaking function and Slow-Motion! With these added, Your Far Cry adventure will take on a whole new strategic approach to the game.

The levels will take on a new experience with the addition of the Soldier FV1.0 Mod, so much so that this will feel like a whole new game! If you're curious about what equipment you will be carrying, then read on:

  • Training
    • You will start with Fighting Fists and a P-99 Walther
  • Carrier
    • You will start with Dual MP7s and a Mortar
  • Rebellion
    • You will start with Dual MP7s, Glock17 and a M3 Shotgun
  • Dam
    • You will start with Dual MP7s and a Shocker and 300 ammo (i was boring of hinding from the Damn trigents so here is your chance to rip them apart from afar

Some of the new weapons include:

  • M3 Pump action Shotgun
    • Rreplaces the Pancor (Shotgun), the M3 Pump action Shotgun is a little bit slower than the Pancor in firing or in reloading, the M3 more than makes up for that in its power of Shot, and it's looks
  • M16A2 Sopmod
    • Replaces the M4, the M16A2 Sopmod has a scope that has a fixed zoom of 2.6 and has a for fast and quite killing
  • P-99
    • Replaces the Falcon, the P-99 is a light weapon with its and its scope that has a fixed zoom of 2.1. The P-99 is a force to be reckoned with.
  • Glock17
    • Replaces the Mp5, the Glock 17 is one of the best pistols ever, can fire underwater, in mud, and any were else, The Glock 17 is a fast firing pistol.
  • M134 Minigun
    • Ever just wanted to rip of the miniguns and blast the everything, well now you can, now you can pick up mounted miniguns and carry them as regular weapons. Ammo can only be obtained from other mounted miniguns, so the gameplay balance is not affected too greatly.
  • And more!

Some of the general changes included are:

  • Puts Jack in camo paints
  • Every Vehicle has a new skin
  • New weapon sounds for all weapons except Rocket Launcher.

NB:
Needs at lest Far Cry 1.3.3 for this mod to work (of couse anything higher is better)
Needs at less DCL 1.3 for this mod to work (this version comes with it)
This mod was composed of two builds.
SOLDIER-low is intended for older, P4 1-2Ghz machines.
SOLDIER-high is for faster, Dual or Quad core machines with fast video cards.

but this verson is only for SOLDIER-low as for that is what my computer is

Instructions:
This mod adds two functions, Cloaking, (Invisibility) and Slow-Motion, to Far Cry.
This allows a whole new strategic approach to the game.

To toggle Cloaking,press CryVision key (This isn't infinite, but will recharge)
To toggle Slo-Mo, press Binoculars key (This is infinite)

You need to start a new game for this mod to function correctly.
the first level has a bug that make the level unpassable, so i have set up the 2nd level (carrier) with the MP7s and the shocker
--
press O in game to get 999 ammo (dont abuse it)
press P to get the Commander's weapon set incluing: Fighting Fists, M3 Pump Action Shotgun, Sopmod, DualMP7's, Mortar 31, M134 Minigun, Glock17 and P99 walther  (dont abuse it)

Changes:
M3 Pump action Shotgun- replaces the Pancor (Shotgun), the M3 Pump action Shotgun is a little bit slower than the Pancor in firing or in reloading, the M3 more than makes up for that in its power of Shot, and it's looks

Glock17- replaces Mp5, the Glock 17 is one of the best pistols ever, can fire underwater, in mud, and any were else, The Glock 17 is a fast firing pistol.

Fighting Fists- replaces Machete, now you can just punch the emeny.

Steyr- replaces P90, the Steyr is a mechine gun with force behind it, has a scope that has a fixed zoom of 2.6

Shocker- the shocker is a taser based weapon from with in the game (ubi soft make it) it kills fast but like most of farcry's weapons it can not be used under water.

H&K MP-7 PDW (Personal Defence Weapon)- One of a new range of Personal Defence Weapons from Heckler & Koch, this weapen is full auto gas powered weapen. has a clip size of 40 (20 each MP-7)

M134 Minigun- ever just wanted to rip of the miniguns and blast the everything, well now you can, now you can pick up mounted miniguns and carry them as regular weapons. Ammo can only be obtained from other mounted miniguns, so the gameplay balance is not affected too greatly.

* Every time you use a mounted minigun, you’ll take it if you don’t have one already and there’s room in your inventory. (to getit drop a gun and the mini gun will take that spot)
* If you already have a minigun, using a mounted minigun replenishes your carried minigun ammo to 900 (600 on your back and 300 in the minigun) (you can do this indefinitely), but leaves the gun mounted. 
* Fires very fast, but also with large dispersion, just like a handheld minigun would behave in real life (don’t bother sniping with this sort of fire power) 

Portable Mortar- ever just wanted to rip of the Mortars and blast the everything, well now you can, now you can pick up mounted Mortars and carry them as regular weapons. Ammo can only be obtained from other mounted Mortars, so the gameplay balance is not affected too greatly. The Mortar's Zomm is a part of the Org engine of farcry + you can zoom in and out

* Every time you use a mounted Mortar, you’ll take it if you don’t have one already and there’s room in your inventory. (to get it drop a gun and the Mortar will take its place)
* If you already have a Mortar, using a mounted Mortar replenishes your carried Mortar ammo to 100 (99 on your back and 1 in the Mortar) (you can do this indefinitely), but leaves the gun mounted. 
* Fires like the mounted Mortar, but also with large dispersion, just like a handheld Mortar would behave in real life
