N88TR has released his first Single Player map for the enjoyment of the far Cry community; This small to medium sized map is chalk-ram full of some great FC goodness that is sure to put a smile on your face. There is no cause for worry, as this is not one of those maps that will have you guessing on what to do, or where to go...N88TR has supplied audio cues to help you along.
Depending on your preferred style of play, Traumatic will either be over quickly, or it could be something a little more substantial...it is recommended that you play slowly, rather then as the termanator, you won't regret the experience.
As jack Carver, you have been successful at ridding the nasty verman that plagued the tropical islands...however, there was an island that you missed while you were taking out Dr. Krieger and his mad creation, the Trigens. This is that island...

SP Traumatic Map Readme Author: N88TR Build time: approximately 6 months Machine Spec: Operating System: XP Professional CPU: AMD FX-57 single core @ 2.8 ghz Graphics: XFX 7950 GT [Later Evga 8800 GTS 320 mb] Memory: Corsair DDR400 2 gigs FarCry Version: 1.4 Map Mode: Singleplayer Installation: Extract the files to your /Levels folder and go in there and make sure it creates the SP_Traumatic folder, if not, create it and then re-extract the files to that folder. When in-game, bring down the console [~, to the right of the 1 key] and type in "/map sp_traumatic." Map Description: My first singleplayer map has been in the works for quite a while but it's finally done. The map is laid out with audio cues to help you along the map. It's a relatively small map but if you play it slowly, it's actually quite fun. Backstory: There was an island that you missed, Jack Carver while you were taking out Dr. Krieger and his mad creation, the Trigens. This is that island [I don't want to give too much away, it's all spelled out early on it the actual level.]. Regarding .CRY File: You can do a re-release if you want of the map, but you must email me a heads up just saying that you did so, and where it's hosted, etc. This Readme file must stay with the archive, even if you re-release the map and create a new Readme file with your informations. Hosting: As long as this readme stays untouched in the archive, you may submit/host this file at any website as long as no money changes hands. I think there are still a few bugs and even though I worked on this for over 6 months, it was still a rushed release. Please give me feedback on the map. Thank you and I hope you enjoy this map, N88TR. http://n88tr.net firstname.lastname@example.org XFire Handle: n88tr
