A Plague Tale: Innocence was released back in May of this year, but if you've not yet had chance to give the game a try, you can now do so for free thanks to a new trial version that features the game's first chapter.

The game is an action-adventure combined with horror and stealth mechanics set in 1348, at the height of the plague. It features a nice blend of gameplay mechanics and is well worth trying out.

As well as having a new free trial version, the full game is also currently on sale through to the 16th of September on Steam should you wish to pick the game up. There's quite a few other games from Focus Home Interactive on sale, too, including various Warhammer games.
