The first on Arma 3's Creator DLC packs has now been released, and it's based in Northern Cold War Germany.

For those unaware, Creator DLC is basically DLC packs that are created by third parties who have been given the opportunity to develop for the game and earn money - think of it is glorified paid mods under another name, I guess.

The creators get their cut, of course. The idea is to give talented creators the chance to make content for Arma 3 and earn revenue in the process. 

Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany is the first, and it's set in 1980's Northern Germany, at the height of the cold war, with East and West German forces facing off on what is a pretty huge map.

The new DLC also includes 42 new vehicles, 21 new weapons, 17 multiplayer scenarios and a brand new single player campaign with 10 missions.

The DLC is available now for around $23 USD, but if you grab it before May 6th, you can get 10% off.
