Bloodstained: ritual of the night is a compelling new gothic horror action side-scrolling RPG set in 18th century England, and one of the rarest collectables in the game are the 8-bit coins. They're really valuable in-game currency, and enables you to unlock new, powerful gear that will be really useful in the later game.
You can buy them via microtransactions, and craft them by breaking down certain items, but there are three of them hidden around the game world, and we note these locations below;
You can find the first of these ultra-rare coins below the first drawbridge in the game, to the far left of the long hallway. From there, enter the room where you jump into the village area - you'll find that there's a breakable wall in the left corner of the room, and the coin is lying right behind it.
The second coin requires you to stand on the shaking roof, eventually it will collapse, and you'll fall through into a room below, where the next coin can be found on the right hand side.
The third coin is less obvious. Head to Johannes, who can be found on the right side of the home base. He's able to craft new items and disassemble old gear, including any items you may have obtained with an 8-bit coin. Doing this will refund you the coin, allowing you to purchase something else instead.
There may be more coins hidden around the world, but they're ultra rare and so far these are the only ones that have been discovered. We'll be updating the guide if we find any more, but if you're aware of any other tips for getting 8-bit coins, let us know down below.
