Amazon is putting the first episode of the hotly anticipated Fallout TV series out for free on its Twitch platform, with select streamers able to host a live watch-along on the 11th of April.

According to Amazon, Twitch users following a select number of streamers will be able to watch the first episode live in a watch-along style, despite Amazon recently deprecating the watch party feature.

"Adventuring through the Wasteland is dangerous, take a friend along for the journey," said Amazon on X; "Join this awesome list of streamers to watch the first episode of #Fallout. LIVE on their Twitch channels April 11."

To see the episode for free, you'll need to tune in to one of these select Twitch streamers to watch along;

  • /Shroud
  • /BrookAB
  • /TheOnlyRyann
  • /DEERE
  • /CohhCarnage
  • /KingGothalion
  • /TheBronzeGirl
  • /DansGaming
  • /SweeetTails
  • /Elspeth
  • /Techniq
  • /Swiftor
  • /GassyMexican
  • /Tooniversal
  • /bloodyfaster

Only the above Twitch streamers are allowed to broadcast the episode live, which has led to some backlash within the community, especially since the aforementioned Watch Party feature has recently been deprecated. However, you can watch these streams completely for free, even if you don't have a Twitch account.

I'm pretty hyped for the series, which takes place in the retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic setting of the Fallout universe we've come to know and love. It's set about 219 years after the bombs fell and follows the story of one woman leaving the safety of Vault 33 to head into the wastelands of Los Angeles.

If you enjoy the first episode, the entire series will drop in one go on the 11th of April on Amazon Prime Video.
