BioWare is teaming up with Dark Horse Comics to release a three-part comic miniseries set in the Dragon Age universe.

Dragon Age: Those Who Speak is being penned by Dragon Age lead writer David Gaider and Star Wars: The Old Republic senior writer Alexander Freed, and follows the story of Alistair, a character from Dragon Age: Origins. The story expands on the comic book series Dragon Age: The Silent Grove, and “the story of King Alistair, as he travels to an empire of evil mages to uncover the fate of his lost father. Accompanied by the pirate captain Isabela and the underworld merchant Varric, King Alistair will stop at nothing to learn the truth, even if it means battling an army of cultists single-handedly.”

The first issue of Those Who Speak will be available on Aug. 22, and Dark Horse is re-releasing The Silent Grove in hardcover on July 25. You can pre-order the latter right here.
