The minimum and recommended system specs for Petroglyph's upcoming RTS have been revealed, and they're pretty reasonable, with the release date also being revised, surprisingly, to be the day previous, moving from May 30th to May 29th.

The reason for this, according to CPO of Funcom Lawrence Poe, is that the team are "eagerly looking forward to launch and to getting Conan Unconquered into the hands of players." - it's an odd situation for sure, but we're not complaining.

The required and recommended specs are below, but as you can see even an Intel HD Graphics 620 will run the game, which is pretty nice - although you'll be wanting at least a GTX 970 to get the most of the game. Even so, we're expecting some pretty good performance here on high end hardware.

Here's the full requirements;

  • Windows 7, 8 or 10 (64 bit)
  • 8GB of RAM
  • Core i3 (dual core) @3Ghz+ or equivalent
  • Intel HD Graphics 620 or DX11 graphics card w/ minimum 1GB dedicated RAM
  • Storage – 10GB

  • Windows 7, 8 or 10 (64 bit)
  • 8GB of RAM
  • Core i5 (quad core) @3Ghz+ or equivalent
  • Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 or AMD RX580 or better
  • Storage – 10GB

So, good news all round. The game is available to pre-order now, and will release on May 29th.
