Control getting free DLC and two new expansions

Remedy have officially unveiled their post-launch plans for Control, with two brand new paid expansions and a free DLC pack all being on the roadmap, as well as potential Alan Wake cross-over.

The two new DLC packs will be named The Foundation and AWE, and will see Jesse's story within the Oldest House continue after the main story. The first expansion will be The Foundation, and will see you sent below the Bureau, where things will get even weirder than The Oldest House. AWE will follow it, and will see you take a trip to the Investigations Sector, where the Bureau apparently keeps tabs on 'Altered World Events'

The free DLC coming this December, though, will see a new game mode added that will allow players to explore even more new content within the Oldest House, and allow you to continue with your investigations and expeditions. It'll include a new area, gear and powers.

There's also going to be a new photo mode coming in a future update, something the base game really needs given how amazing the environments are in this game.

We're not yet sure of the release dates for the expansions, but both are due to be released before mid-2020.
