Many gamers were surprised to see CD Projekt Red move from the third person perspective found in The Witcher 3 to a first person one in Cyberpunk 2077, but it seems now that transition will be an entire one, with cut scenes also taking place in a first person perspective.
This is an interesting shift, as early in-development footage has shown cut scenes taking place from a third person perspective - suggesting this design change has taken place mid-development.
The little nugget of info came from Twitter, when a fan tweeted the official account to ask if the game would have first person cutscenes, to which they surprisingly confirmed "yes" - stating that "In Cyberpunk 2077, immersion is very important to us" to the fan.
Of course, as it's a screenshot of a DM, the authenticity of this can't be 100% confirmed, but it seems like a strange thing to start a rumor about. It's quite possible though that third person perspectives may feature as an option - given that V can be customized int he game, it'd be strange if this feature wasn't available.
