Bungie held it's first-ever live-event in Destiny 2 yesterday, which resulted in an explosion on the Cabal superweapon, that subsequently fell down to Earth.

The almighty slowly burned up across the sky, before smashing into parts of the Tower and ultimately ending up landing just behind it. The Tower has now sustained damage in the game, with gamers looking around to see what all the changes to the map are.

While big explosions are cool, the event was met with lukewarm reactions from gamers, with not much exciting going on for the majority of the 90-minute event. Still, it's a nice new addition, and hopefully will be put to more creative use going forward.

The event signalled the end of the Season of the Worthy, leading the game into the next season and year.
