It's looking to be a good season for releases this fall, with several big name titles, including Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC all scheduled for release. Sadly, Doom Eternal won't be one of those games, as id Software have now confirmed that the release has been delayed until March 20th 2020.

The company commented that the game needs more time to meet their standard requirements, specifically stating the speed and polish of the game, in a statement posted to Twitter earlier today;

There is some good news though - the Invasion Mode, which lets you sneek into other players games as a Demon so you can attempt to take them down, will now be a free update and released shortly after launch.

In more good news for PC players, Doom 64 is ow also going to be getting an official PC release, after previously being announced as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
