There's a few Formula 1 fans here on FilesNation, and any fan of the sport will no doubt want to check out this excellent mod for Assetto Corsa, which allows you to experience the new 2017 season hybrid spec cars, with appropriate new grip physics.

If you can't wait for the next official F1 game, this mod is a great alternative - a hybrid F1 car which is complete with the new grip provided by those super fat rear tyres, as well as realistic handling and accurate and several available liveries.

The new car, the Formula RSS2, isn't free, however, as third party DLC, it will cost £3.99 to download. Once you have the car, however, there are many different liveries available to download for free, including Daniel Ricciardo's Red Bull, and includes a PSD template to allow you to create your own liveries.

For simulation fans however, the realistic sounds, downforce, grip, and physics are well worth the small price of admission. Driving Silverstone in this car is a joy, and you can experience the ability to take corners much faster than the previous season cars.

So if you're interested in the new car, you can buy and download the mod by clicking here.
