  • Halo 3... You Broke My Heart Personally, I did not play the original Halo because well... I didn't have an Xbox, but nonetheless, I was excited for some reason over Halo 2. I preordered it and got it the day it came out. To put it in a few words: It was awesome. The Xbox live part of the game just made the entire game. Being whooped by 10 year-olds really added to the online game play. Halo 2 had a realistic look, but it was still cartoony and fun. And then came Halo 3... I hated Halo 3. I thought Halo 3 was going to be better than life, but it turned out to be horrible! The online game play was ok, but it didn't have the same feel as Halo 2. Now all the 10 year-olds that were playing Halo 2 were older, which made being killed by them not as fun. Hearing, "Omg what a noob," in a high, squeaky voice was just so funny. The campaign in Halo 3 was better, but that didn't make up for the crappy graphics, maps, interface, online play, and the mix up of weapons. The weapons in Halo 2 always felt like they had a place, but in Halo 3 it just felt like they just said, "Hey, that's a cool idea!" An example would be the SMG and Assault Rifle, they felt like the same weapon! Halo 3's looked too cartoony for something that was supposed to look realistic. It didn't fill that Halo void for me, the only void it did fill was an empty game sleeve. Paul | Mr.Funsocks FileFront Network Admin
