Guild Wars 2 itself is free to players, but the expansions have always cost extra to play. Path of Fire sees the God of fire and war, Balthazar, make an expected return, only to reveal himself as a ruthless manipulator with little regard for mortal life. It includes brand new items and mounts, which you can use across all the DLC and base game that you own.

Don't worry if you've recently bought the first DLC either - generously, the developers are offering anyone who bought the DLC in the last two months a full refund for their purchase if they buy the second DLC, along with some extra cosmetic goodies to make good for the situation, which is nice.
