Released in North America in 2003, with its Night of the Raven expansion pack appearing in 2005, Gothic II may not be the newest RPG around, but its modding community remains active.
The Gothic Multiplayer project is the result of months of hard work on the part of its three-man, Polish development team. User-friendly and sporting a lightweight file size, GMP turns this singleplayer game into a multiplayer experience, complete with the deathmatch game mode you’d expect from a AAA multiplayer shooter.
With over 10,000 downloads and an active player base, this is a must-see for Gothic II fans, past and present alike.
In the next update, the team plans to introduce a new map and the ability to change your character’s appearance.
