With all the leaks going out and rumoured Rockstar Games have decided to make it official, that's right folks we are getting Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas all re-mastered. Late this month in October will be the 20th anniversary of the release of one of the most popular games of all time, Grand Theft Auto III. It is the perfect time then that the developers who brought you such a ground breaking game featuring freedom, action and storyline like never before celebrates it with us again in the same fashion.
These games are legendary, they are folklore, and we'll be telling our children about them for generations to come no doubt. These were the games that made our generation, these were the games that made us play games, they were pioneers, they were geniuses, they were gaming gods.
Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas will be coming later this month in their new re-mastered "Definitive Edition" format for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC. The games will also be coming to the iOS and Android stores in the first half of 2022.
The games will feature the graphical improves we have seen in other remasters but of course Grand Theft Auto style alongside modern gameplay enhancements all whilst keeping that classic look and feel of the three legendary games.
The existing original games are being removed in preparation for the launch next week.
