First we found a crashed UFO in Grand Theft Auto 5, now the sky is loaded with these things — but only if you know exactly where to look. Not every UFO appears during daylight, and some require other special conditions just to get a glimpse.

All UFO Sightings – Easter Egg Locations

UFO #1: Paleto Bay Crash

  • In the waters north of Paleto Bay, there’s a crashed UFO deep underwater. Sadly, there’s no way to get inside.

UFO #2: Fort Zancudo AFB

  • This strange UFO appears high the skies above Fort Zancudo AFB. Players can attemp to land on the UFO but they’ll be thrown off by the force of the spinning engine in the center.
  • It happens to be one of the more alien-looking vessels, unlike the next two oddly-marked UFOs.

UFO #3: Mount Chiliad Hologram

  • Go to the peak of Mt. Chiliad where you’ll find a viewing platform. At 3 AM (In-Game) a UFO will appear while standing on the wooden platform, but only while it is raining.
  • You can use the weather cheat to make it rain. Use the code 7 times to get rainy weather. (Input: RT A LB LB LT LT LT X / R2 X L1 L1 L2 L2 L2 Square)
  • The hologram will appear in the distance, but stepping closer to investigate will cause the UFO to disappear. Mysterious! If you look very closely, this UFO has the same FIB markings as another later in the list.

UFO #4: Sandy Shores FIB

  • Even more mysterious is another alien ship that appears directly above the hippy camp in Sandy Shores. This is one is similar to the previous UFO, and is marked with the “FIB” logo.
  • Like the military base UFO, getting too close will push you (or your helicopter) away.
