I'm really excited for The Outer Worlds, a new RPG game developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the developers of Fallout: New Vegas, and seemingly very much in the spirit of that game. Thanks to the Tokyo Games Show this past week, we've now got 20 minutes of gameplay footage to tear apart and analyze, too.
The video shows off much of the early game it seems, including how quests will work and the combat system, as well as dialogue, inventory management and so-on. The dialogue is in English, but annoyingly the player is skipping through a lot of it.
Still, the video appears to show a quest where the player takes over a spaceship by pretending to be the captain, and has to complete various tasks to get the craft back up and running, including battle some robots.
The Outer Worlds is due to release on October 25th.
