The system specs for Borderlands 3 have finally been revealed, and much as expected, they’re actually pretty reasonable. Previous games in the series have been pretty well optimized and not required ultra high-end specs, so it’s great to see this trend has continued.

Here’s the minimum and recommended specs;

Minimum specs:

  • OS – Windows 7/8/10 (latest service pack)
  • Processor – AMD FX-8350 |Intel i5-3570
  • Memory – 6GB RAM
  • Graphics card – AMD Radeon™ HD 7970 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB
  • HDD – 75 GB

Recommended Specs

  • Processor – AMD Ryzen 5 2600 | Intel i7-4770
  • Memory – 16GB RAM
  • Graphics card – AMD Radeon™ RX 590 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

The game also has a wealth of advanced graphical options too, and will support both Direct X 11 and 12, as well as an adjustable frame rate limit, with choices of capping at 30, 50, 60, 72 and 120 FPS as well as unlimited.

There’s some nice additions too such as FidelityFX Sharpening, Temporal Anti-Aliasing, and various HUD and FOV adjustments.
