Devolver Digital's prequel-sidequel-sequel to their 2013 hit, Hotline Miami, has now received its very own level editor.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is set both concurrently as well as before and after the events of the first game. It follows the original's formula of ruthlessly difficult levels, fast paced action and psychedelic visuals lending a trippy journey through 1980s Miami.
And now you, too, can contribute to the game's psychedelia with your own levels. Since December last year, the Hotline Miami 2 level editor has been going through beta testing. After months of vigorous testing, the tool is now available for public consumption, and features full Steam Workshop integration.
The editor is very thorough, allowing you to customize not only the levels themselves, but the enemies, storylines, and cutscenes, so you can really create your own 80s slasher fic, Hotline style.
You can access the editor through the game's main menu, by selecting the "Editor" option. Additionally, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is currently available for 75% off on Steam.
