I’m sure the majority of us have wished that there were some way to get Uwe Boll to just stop making movies and further sullying the “video-game-to-movie adaptation” genre. Well, the man himself may have just given us an open door. In a recent interview with Fearnet.com, he was asked about a recent online petition requesting he stop making movies altogether:
Are you aware that there is a petition online, signed by 18,000 people, requesting that you stop making movies?
Yeah, I know that. 18,000 is not enough to convince me.
How many would it take?
One million. Now we have a new goal.
Yes, we do have a new goal! You read that right: if this petition…hold on, excuse me…THIS PETITION RIGHT HERE gets a million signatures on it, he says he’ll quit making movies. It’s up to over 60,000 now. Who knows? He may not live up to his end of the bargain, but it’s worth a shot. Go, internet, go!
