It's another significant signing for Epic Games, who have brought on board Jason West, the co-founder of Infinity Ward, creators of the popular Call of Duty series, and later Respawn Entertainment, developers of Apex Legends and Titanfall.
His role at the company has yet to be confirmed, but Epic did confirmed that he is "contributing to Epic's development efforts", via Twitter.
Some game industry scoop: @EpicGames has quietly hired Jason West, @InfinityWard and @Respawn co-founder, to work on its game development efforts. From what I hear West, who lives in North Carolina, has been in the office for about a month. pic.twitter.com/nhR0zPq0mB

Jason has been quiet since leaving Respawn in 2013, so it's interesting to see him now joining Epic, where his skills will no doubt be put to very good use. He played a significant role in the original Call of Duty titles, Modern Warfare and it's sequel.
