Is Reshade coming to GeForce Experience?

By FileTrekker 4 years ago, last updated 4 years ago

While there's nothing official, several sources have apparently leaked Nvidia's plans to  introduce Reshade directly into the GeForce Experience, meaning that it'll be easier than ever to add and manage Reshade filters.

For those not aware, Reshade is quite a popular tool that allows you to easily change the visual look of games using shader techniques, for example making games look more 'realisitc' - there are several hugely popular reshade mods for games like The Witcher 3 and Grand Theft Auto V, for example.

It also lets you enable graphical features developers may not have supported, such as SMAA antialiasing or screen space ambient occlusion.

How the feature will work remains to be seen, and if it does become an official feature of GeForce experience, what does this mean for the Reshade project, currently a free to use tool?

As we say, there's no confirmation this is even going to happen yet, but stay tuned to GameFront for more on this if and when it happens.
