Great news for fans of Nano's upcoming Just Cause 3 Multiplayer Mod - they have officially left the technical preview stage and into official beta, with many improvements and fixes to enjoy, and Version 1.0 hopefully coming early next year.

We reported back in September that there was a preview of the mod available to download, however it was fair to say it was rife with bugs and not ready for the prime time - albeit you wouldn't expect as much from such an early preview version. I'm happy to say, however, that the beta version released this past week has come on leaps and bounds, with many improvements and fixes.

The beta version includes many improvements, such as the ability to stand on top of vehicles without glitching quite as badly as before, and there have been many welcome improvements to issues such as spawn time and sounds / footsteps being out of sync with other players. New features also allow players to create their own multiplayer modes, but do bare in mind that it still requires somebody to host a server for the mod to work.

This isn't entirely bug-free yet, though, so team Nanos are encouraging players to report any encountered bugs so that they are able to squash them before their planned release date of January or February, so not too far away now.
