Character variety is the spice of fighting game life, and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 promises a pretty extensive roster. Playing the game, nevertheless, will allow you to augment the list further; after earning points by winning fights and beating modes in-game, you can spend them to make more fighters available.

The pricing and conditions for some characters will get complicated, so we’ve prepared this page to act as a clearinghouse for all Marvel vs. Capcom 3 unlockable characters. On-disc Unlockable Characters

Sentinel - 2000 PP (one playthrough on Arcade mode)

Akuma – 2000 PP (“”)

Hsien-Ko – 3000 PP (about one-and-a-half playthroughs)

Taskmaster – 8000 PP (about four playthroughs)

A Hero Stands Alone Achievement/Trophy

Average Joe Achievement/Trophy

Need a Healing Factor Achievement/Trophy

Weapon X, Darkstalkers, Female Flyers, Badds to the Bone, and Avengers Assemble Achievements/Trophies

Saving My Quarters Achievement/Trophy

Herculean Task Achievement/Trophy

Follow these game settings to finish Very Hard mode:

  • Use “Simple” Operation Mode.
  • Choose Taskmaster
  • Set difficulty to Very Hard
  • Sset time limit to 30 seconds
  • Set damage to highest.
  • Constantly press ‘Y‘ or ‘Triangle’ to fire Taskmaster’s long range shots.
  • Press ‘B‘ or ‘Circle’ to fire Taskmaster’s Hyper when your opponent gets close. Switch characters if Galactus grabs you.
