Update: It appears GOG and Steam are now also listing the same release date, so it seems pretty much a dead-cert that the game will be releasing August 6th.

Metal Wolf Chaos XD was announced back at the 2018 E3 Expo, and there's now suggestions it will be releasing on August 6th this year, due to a listing on the Microsoft Store.

The game is a re-release in HD of a previously Japanese only title. It's not been confirmed yet that the game will definitely release then, but we do know that Devolver Digital announced Sunday that the release information for the game would be due this week, so it won't take long to officially confirm.

The game was previously rumored for July 4th, given the very much USA theme of the game, but it makes much more sense that they'll be officially announcing the release date instead.
