News just in, the original release of Metro 2033 has just been made free for the next 24 hours on the Steam platform, and as long as you download it within that timeframe, it's yours to keep for life.

It's a pretty decent way to celebrate Halloween, and there's not too many occasions where games as epic as this one are given away for free, so make sure you log into Steam and add the game to your library.
