There's a new update out soon for Warhammer 40:000: Dawn of War 3, and although it's been delayed, it will include a host of new modding tools, as well as improvements to the multiplayer in the game that will help make it more balanced.
The modding tools are the main feature of the update, and they'll include a new Attribute Editor, as well as a new tuning pack, which allow modders to change the balance of online games, create new abilities, or modify the existing ones. This will let players build unique and creative game mods, and share them via Steam Workshop.
Will this be enough for the game to win back some favour with the fans? Hopefully this, combined with other multiplayer changes and a new campaign auto-save feature, will be enough to bring back players to the game. Hopefully this will lead to some new factions appearing in the game via modding, too.
