New Doom Eternal footage will be revealed at QuakeCon

By FileTrekker 4 years ago, last updated 4 years ago

QuakeCon starts in just a few days time, on July 26th, and if you're not able to get to the event in person, then fear not, as Bethesda will be streaming huge chunks of it live on Twitch, including brand new footage of Doom Eternal.

The footage will be revealed during the opening keynote, and will show off a lot from the new multiplayer mode. There's more to see too, though, with an entire schedule of events available from Bethesda here.

Other key events will be various e-sports tournaments, including the finals of The Elder Scrolls: Legends Masters Series, as well as Doom 2, QuakeWorld and The Elder Scrolls Online tournaments all scheduled to take place.

In addition to the tournaments, there will be various speed runners, too, as well as panels taking place where Q&A sessions will take place on games such as Fallout 76, Doom Eternal, and The Elder Scrolls Online.

Watching the streams unlocks unique items for various Bethesda games, apparently, with the keynote stream giving players new assault rifle skins for Rage 2. To get these you'll need to connect your Twitch, Bethesda NET and Elder Scrolls Online accounts together. Complicated, eh?
