As modding-news stories go, this perhaps isn't the most important, but it's definitely the one I've found most hilarious this past week. Have you ever wanted to see Hideo Kojima and Death Stranding's Norman Reedus dancing in the rain in Metal Gear Solid V?
The answer to that question should have been yes.
Death Stranding's recent trailer was a rather trippy affair, but the new game from Kojima is certainly very compelling, and will no doubt feature many of his signature styles, such as a very involved storyline and meta moments that will confuse and delight. One fan was so excited by the new game, however, that they decided to create a new mod for Metal Gear Solid V to celebrate.
The mod has been created by Solidcal Modding, and uses the 'quiet dancing' sequence from MGS V, but replacing Silent Sniper with Reedus, and Big Boss with Kojima. For those wondering where the model of Reedus came from, he was extracted from the Silent Hills playable demo, another Kojima game which was never released.
