Nvidia is preparing in earnest for GTC on the 14th of May, with CEO Jen-Hsun scheduled to deliver the keynote speech at the event, where we are likely to learn more about the company's new Ampere architecture.
A news post on the Nvidia website reads Get amped for latest platform breakthroughs in AI, deep learning, autonomous vehicles, robotics, and professional graphics," which seems like an obvious reference to Ampere, the next generation of GPU technology aimed at professional and data center applications.
For gamers, there may be a glimpse into what the future holds, however. While we expect the event to be aimed largely at the business sector, often technology found in Nvidia's professional products make their way to consumer GPU's at some stage down the line.
The event will be streamed on Nvidia's YouTube channel on the 14th of May at 14:00 BST. The event is online-only, following GTC's original date of March 16th being cancelled due to Coronavirus. We'll be sure to bring you any news from the event as it happens.
