NVidia have confirmed that they will be releasing new 'super edition' RTX 20-series cards, complete with specs and release dates, and gamers won't have to wait long to get their hands on them, as they're arriving very soon indeed.

Releasing less than a year after the initial 20xx series cards released, there will be three new cards dropping this month. The first two to release will be the new RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 'super edition' cards, which will be 22% faster than the previous ones, with the 2060 getting a RAM upgrade to 8GB, bringing it up to par performance wise with the current 2070.

The RTX 2070 will be around 24% faster and will outperform the GTX 1080 Ti.

Founders editions for both cards release on the 9th of July - just four days from now - online.

More interesting is the RTX 2080 Super, which will become the new flagship card. It's memory is now an impressive 15.5Gbp, with even better performance than the Titan XP, roughly 15 percent better than the present 2080.

You'll have to wait a little longer for the 2080 though, as it's founders edition cards will release online on the 23rd of July. Early purchases of any of these cards will get a free copy of Control and Wolfenstein: Youngblood, too.

Now, in terms of prices, well, the 2060 card will release for roughly $100 less than the current 2070, despite equal performance - something early adopters of the RTX series are sure to be displeased about.

But if you've not yet dipped your toes into the RTX series yet, then these new cards seem like the best time to do so, as they will offer much better value for money over the current lineup.
