Posted on March 21, 2012, CJ Miozzi Opt-in for the Mists of Pandaria Beta!
If you’re eager to try out Mists of Pandaria, then now would be the time to ensure you’ve opted-in for the open beta test.
To opt in, visit Battle.net and log into your account, then navigate to your Beta Profile page and make your selection. You’ll have to download and run the System Check tool which will send Blizzard your computer’s specifications — don’t worry if your computer isn’t state-of-the-art, because Blizzard needs to test the game on a wide range of systems.
You’ll be notified by email if and when you’re accepted into the beta — but beware of scams. Never click on any links within a Blizzard email. Simply log back into your B.net account and verify that you’ve been accepted.
Annual Pass holders are guaranteed a spot in the beta — and a free copy of Diablo 3. Invites will go out in waves, so don’t fret if you’re not among the first. The order of invitation will be based on several factors, including how long your World of Warcraft account has been active and when you signed up for the Annual Pass.
If you don’t get into the beta, then you’ll at least be able to see tons of screenshots and footage of others playing, as testers will be under no NDA.
