In yesterday's press release, Sports Interactive announced that Football Manager 2019 will be released on November 2nd and with a new brand design that will retire the iconic "Manager Man" who has been on the covers since Football Manager 2005, the first title they made since the split with Eidos.
What is even more interesting is that the game will make the debut of the German Bundesliga to the series, which has historically only been reserved for Electronic Arts' FIFA series, with only occasional licenses of individual teams and/or the German national team being present in other games. Usually, the presence of the Bundesliga in non-EA games was the result of modders' work, as one of the strongest football leagues is naturally attractive to play as.
Football Manager 2019 will be saying goodbye to the iconic ‘Manager Man’ who has featured on the cover of every Football Manager game since FM 2005, to be replaced by a manager’s eye view of the pitch as the gaffer and players head down the tunnel ahead of a big match. With redesigned logos, loads of new and improved features, and the implementation of the DFL Bundesliga license for the first time, Football Manager 2019 is set to be even more comprehensive in its realism than ever before.
Football Manager 2019 will be released for Windows and Mac. Football Manager 2019 Touch will be available on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS mobile platforms, and Football Manager 2019 Mobile on Android and iOS.
