Posted on March 13, 2012, Ross Lincoln Rumors Of Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer DLC Explode On The Extranet
By now the whole world is aware that disappointed fans are demanding a new ending for Mass Effect, one that, presumably would be delivered via DLC. Alas, while BioWare has remained distinctly mum on that question, it appears they will be releasing some kind of DLC soon. At least if an image posted posted on Reddit pans out.
That image, seen at the top of this page, is apparently from the DLC, which will unlock a number of new playable classes in Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer. As you can see, it’s two Geth classes, two Batarian, a Krogan and an Asari class. This is actually kind of cool, if you’re into the Multiplayer. Then again, BioWare’s managed to stir up some bad blood with recent DLC strategy, not to mention the controversy over the ending, and speculation is high that BioWare has something in store for DLC far bigger than mere multiplayer content. We’ll see if this checks out over the next few days, when BioWare resumes making official statements on the staategy for Mass Effect 3. In the meantime, would you even want to play DLC after finishing the game once? Let us know in comments.
