Sega is porting the PS3 RPG Valkyria Chronicles to PC.

The publisher revealed its port plans in a posting today on its official Twitter feed.

“Gallia, to arms,” it Tweeted. “Return to the original battle on PC. More info coming soon…”

Valkyria Chronicles was originally released on the PlayStation 3 in 2008. Inspired loosely by World War 2, it received critical acclaim for its pencil drawn styled visuals and entertaining combat system which combined turn-based RPGs with third person shooter action. Despite its positive reviews however, its sales were mediocre at best in North America. It found more success in Japan however and would receive two sequels on the PSP.

Sega has released no details as to when the PC version of Valkyria Chronicles will be releasing or how much it will cost, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated when we know more.
