Improbable, the creators behind SpatialOS, a cloud-based game development platform with focus on online connectivity, have announced today they're opening two brand new development studios, one in London, UK and the other in Edmonton, Canada.
SpatialOS is promising to be a big force in online gaming, with Mavericks, for example, promising the possibility of a 1,000 player Battle Royale.
The studio in Edmonton is being headed up by Bioware's former general manager, Aaryn Flynn, where he oversaw titles such as Mass Effect and Dragon Age, meanwhile, former Executive Producer at EA DICE, John Wasilczyk, will be heading up the new London studio.
With 50 staff already working on their first game, it'll be exciting to see what these new studios produce using SpatialOS.
