If you were hoping to get your hands on Star Citizen's singleplayer campaign early, it seems that you'll now have to wait it out a little longer - as the beta has apparently been delayed by three months due to scheduling conflicts.
The beta was originally scheduled to take place in the early summer of next year, but we're not looking at a date sometime between July and September 2020 instead. Apparently the reason for this is due to the studio now switching to a "staggered development" cycle, and as such they won't have the manpower to hold the beta as they had originally planned.
Cloud Imperium Games have commented that they'll be releasing more details on this staggered development cycle in the near future, when their next "live video" takes place on the 6th of September.
