When Disney bought LucasArts, one of the saddest casualties of the deal was the loss of Battlefront III, and many fans are still captivated by the lost game. This new mod for Battlefront II re-creates elements Battlefront III for all to enjoy.

Star Wars Battlefront III Legacy features new elements for Battlefront II which come directly from it's cancelled successor - including several new maps, and updated HUD based on III, and the long-wished for ability to transition from ground battles to space battles without having to load into a new map!

The mod is still a work in progress, so it is still pretty buggy at the moment. but includes two brand new maps that feature the new seemless transitions. These are the homeworld of Cato Neimodia, Neimodian. The maps included feature all the expected game mods, including Supremacy, Team Deathmatch, Hero Assault, Fighter Squadron, and 1&2 Flag, as well as many others. There's also a promise of campaigns coming to a future update.

There are over 30+ playable characters also included with the mod, which include Anakin Skywalker, Obiwan-Kenobi, Han Solo, Like Skywalker, Darth Vader, Boba and Jango Fett, Darth Sidious, Cancellor Palpatine and many more.
