Paradox Interactive's latest publishing, Steel Division: Normandy 44, launched late last month and its workshop has been slowly filling with mods from the ever creative community.
The real time strategy game, developed by Eugen Systems(R.U.S.E, Wargame), has landed itself quite snugly with a Mostly Positive rating on Steam. It boasts numerous features, such as hundreds of historically accurate units, real world settings, and real world strategies.
But how does the game's mods measure up to expectations? It's no secret that Paradox Interactive has become synonymous with proper mod support, and Steel Division certainly doesn't seem to shy away from that. It has launched with mod support, and workshop support, though the latter isn't being filled quite as quickly as one might expect.
At the time of this writing, the Steel Division: Normandy 44 workshop only contains a little over 50 items, but it bears mentioning that some of these mods are actually developed and published by the developers themselves, such as the minimap mod by Eugen Systems.
So what do you say? Are you disappointed, or is 50 items - considering the game hasn't been out for a month yet - more than expected? Leave your comment below!
