In a press release, Bethesda has announced the release date for their upcoming MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online.

PC gamers will be able to join the world of Tamriel on April 4, 2014 (4/4/14), in keeping with Bethesda’s penchant for catchy dates.

If you’re a next-gen console gamer who’s looking forward to joining the ranks of MMO players, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. According to Bethesda, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of TESO won’t be available until June 2014.

Check out the trailer below showing off the game’s massive PvP system, which will pit hundreds of players against one another.

If you haven’t checked out TESO yet, you should probably check out our hands-on preview. If you’re still worried about the subscription fee, here’s why that doesn’t doom the game.
