This new Baldur's Gate 3 mod will keep you looking your best

We all know that looking the part is one of the most important elements of role-playing, and any serious D&D player is going to want to be on top of their fashion game. Baldur's Gate 3 is no exception, and thanks to this new mod, everything from transmog variants to easily equipable cosmetic items make the entire experience much more enjoyable.

Known as Cosmetic Slots from modder FallenStar, the mod allows you to swap out cosmetic items instantly. Instead of having to transform the appearance of your items individually, the mod places a bag in your inventory that applies the appearance of any gear you drop into it on top of your current armour pieces.

It'll even work with vanity items, which will be treated as body armour and work automatically on things like chest pieces - and if you have modded items, they'll also work just fine.

It makes it much easier to swap out your appearance, or maintain the same appearance while upgrading your armour as you go - and you can even toggle certain elements on or off, should you decide that really swag helmet you just picked up is something you want to add to your ensemble.

There is a small quirk with the mod that causes other NPCs wearing the same items as you to also be transmogged, but I think I can live with that. There's also a weird bug with duel-wielded weapons and capes, but I'm hoping some of these issues can be fixed in a future update to the mod.

You'll need to make sure you have BG3 Script Extended, but you can grab the mod right now here.
