If this isn’t a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is: Terry Pratchett, author of the Discworld series, not only plays this mod, he loved it so much that he collaborated with the original creator to add more lore to it. Vilja is a companion with the most fleshed-out personality you’ll ever find.
This mod adds a new region high beyond the hills of the Niben: the great desert plateau of central Elsweyr. From sandy desert wastes to rocky, red badlands, from grassy savannah to jungle coast, the lands of Anequina beckon.
This new region, spanning the section of Elsweyr between Skingrad and Leyawiin, includes four new landscapes (desert to jungle), four new towns, several villages, Khajiit sub-races, dozens of small quests, three small player homes and a monster-filled wilderness to explore.
Consolitis, begone! This mod gives the Oblivion UI an extensive facelift, removing any signs of consolization. Fonts are smaller, settings can be adjusted in game, user controls are scaled, more info is provided on screen, and the HUD is vastly improved.
This mod enhances the environmental components of Oblivion and includes dozens of features: seasonal weather patterns, improved visualization of most celestial features found in the game, more than 40 new weather types, and additional ambient wildlife species, such as birds and insects.
This mod adds a shop with master trainer merchant Goddesses that sell custom armor, clothes, items and weapons. While the mod is apparently for both male and female characters, a quick look at the screenshots may convince you otherwise.
