Turtle Beach, along with Polk audio, is one of only two officially licensed Xbox One audio partners at the moment. Because of the leg-up, TB has two Xbox headsets primed for the console launch, the XO Seven and the XO Four.

In terms of design, the XO line definitely takes its cues from the established Seven series of headsets. The grille style on the cans themselves, the mic boom design, it’s all very familiar looking. Priced at $99.99 and $149.99, respectively, the Four and Seven series are mid-range offerings, similar to what’s available for the current crop of consoles. They’re also both mobile-friendly, so looping your smartphone in won’t be an issue. And if you feel the need to wear these huge gaming headsets out in the real world, you can pop out the boom mic, swap in an inline mic cable, and take your Halo Blasters over to Starbucks!

The differences between the two lines is in the details; the Four series uses mesh in the earcups and headband, while the more expensive Seven line uses memory foam. But aside from the new name, a lot of the existing Turtle Beach DNA is in these new lines, so fans of the current hardware should keep an eye out for these come November.
