BioShock Infinite’s AI lead Don Norbury and combat design director Clint Bundrick have left Irrational for Microsoft.

According to their LinkedIn profiles, Norbury‘s new position at Microsoft is senior software development engineer, while Bundrick is a senior designer.

Superannuation caught the recent departures, which seem to be following a trend of Irrational hemorrhaging personnel. In August, two major figures in the development of BioShock Infinite – Tim Gerritsen, director of product development, and art director Nate Wells – quit Irrational Games, as well as design lead Jeff McGann and principal systems designer Kenneth Strickland. Infinite producer Joseph Faulstick also left Irrational for Microsoft in May.

Does this bode well for BioShock Infinite?
