Posted on June 14, 2010, Phil Owen Ubisoft shows off Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Divulges Release Date

To start off its incredibly bizarre E3 press conference, Ubisoft cut right to what we wanted to see: gameplay for the next game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, subtitled Brotherhood and set for release on November 16. (Above is the game’s brand-new cinematic trailer, which they also showed.)

What did we see? We got to see Ezio ride a horse through the scripted destruction of a city (his villa?) and shoot a cannon at some bad guys. We saw him throw a giant-ass axe through a dude’s head. It was all-in-all pretty cool, but I’m still skeptical what with them putting out an entirely new title only a year after the last one. We’ll just reserve judgment for now.
